Grand Seiko’s GMT Watches Dear Watch Snob®, I hope you are well. I humbly request further advice on a topic you have previously touched on: GMT watches. I am interested in purchasing a watch with the GMT function, and from my research I can gather that the majority available use the modified ETA 2893-2 -- a movement where a second hour hand is lazily added -- and thus are not “true” GMT watches.
