Average Movie Ticket Price -3% In Q3; But Still On Pace For Record High This Year

This just out of exhib-distrib confab ShowEast down in Orlando, Florida: National Association of Theater Owners are reporting that the average ticket price for Q3 this year is at $8.51 which is down -3% from Q2’s $8.73, but +3% from the same July-September period. This year’s average ticket price is tracking at an average of $8.60, which is besting 2015’s previous all-time high of $8.
