Black Lightning Trailer: Walks Like Thunder, Strikes Like Lightning

For months now, we’ve been reporting on the upcoming Greg Berlanti show, Black Lightning. Early today, we discussed the fact that despite its common DC origins, it would not be joining the likes of Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl in their shared universe…at least not for now. Their first priority, it seems, was to allow the series to be its own thing. Now, The CW has released the first look trailer for Black Lightning, and all of a sudden, it’s very clear why they wanted it to stand alone.
