A family court judge in Kentucky has announced he will no longer hear adoption cases involving “homosexual parties” because he believes allowing a gay person to adopt could never be in the child's best interest.
Kentucky Judge W. Mitchell Nance says he must recuse himself from cases involving “a practicing homosexual."
Judge W. Mitchell Nance wrote that the “best interest of the child be promoted by the adoption by a practicing homosexual.”
