The phrase gets thrown around casually, but it's an apt metaphor for Trump's first four months in office. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has appointed former FBI director Robert Mueller as special counsel to continue the Trump-Russia investigation, and Stephen Colbert is ecstatic.  “The [phrase] ‘dumpster fire’ gets thrown around so casually these days, but when a special counsel gets appointed to investigate your administration just four months in, that’s a new high and low,” The "Late Show" host opened Thursday.
