Australian Developer Buys Saddleback Mountain In Maine

Rangeley, Maine – On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 Majella Group of Australia agreed to purchase Saddleback Mountain in Maine from long time owners Bill and Irene Berry. The private sale was for an undisclosed amount and the goal is to “transform Saddleback into the premier ski resort in North America” ( The deal should finalize later this summer. Majella Group notes in their press release that the “purchase includes all holdings of Saddleback Mountain Resort, including the resort, base lodge, ski lifts and surrounding timberland, totaling 6,337 acres.
