Destiny 2 does away with random item rolls

The most committed Destiny players have a lot less grinding ahead of them when the sequel releases later this year. Developer Bungie says that variable stats on weapons and armor are a thing of the past. In Destiny 2, each item will have its own fixed perks. In an interview with Mashable, Destiny 2 director Luke Smith confirms that there will no longer be a randomized system that sets two versions of the same item apart.
