Astrup Fearnley Museet acquires two works by Ai Weiwei

Astrup Fearnley Museet announced the acquisition of two new works by Ai Weiwei. The museum invited Ai Weiwei to create a work for the summer exhibition Chinese Summer and the result was a striking installation of the works Tyres (2016) and Odyssey (2017), which now belongs to the Astrup Fearnley Collection. The artist and activist Ai Weiwei (b. 1957) is probably the most internationally known of today?s Chinese contemporary artists.
