How gaming helped me get ripped

When I had the grand idea to do a bodybuilding competition, the last thing I expected was that it would somehow tie into video games. While I've been playing since I was some moronic child and the SNES was my be-all-and-end-all, I never presumed that interest would merge into my love for fitness. It was so nonsensical I didn't even give it a thought. Somewhat surprisingly, though, it did, and it did so in the strangest way possible.
