Patrick Sharp will return to Blackhawks in free agency, per report

Sharp played with Chicago from 2005 to 2015. The Chicago Blackhawks and forward Patrick Sharp will reunite when free agency opens on Saturday, reports The Athletic’s Brian Hedger. The move was also tweeted about by TSN’s Bob McKenzie. Terms are not known at this time and the deal cannot be made official until free agency opens at 12 p.m. ET. The Stars acquired Sharp and defenseman Stephen Johns in a 2015 summer trade that sent Trevor Daley and Ryan Garbutt to Chicago.
