23 projects in the pipeline right now for one of DTLA's hottest neighborhoods The Arts District development boom just keeps going and going, with no end in sight. For most of this decade, the area has been an irresistible magnet for builders, and new projects seem to be announced on an almost weekly basis. Some, including SunCal's megaproject at Sixth and Alameda promise to completely reshape an area that has already undergone a seismic shift since the days when massive studios rented for $150 and artists could actually afford to live there.
