UK links trade to post-Brexit Irish border plans

Britain will on Wednesday set out its proposals for the Irish border after Brexit, seeking to use the issue to pressure the European Union into starting early trade negotiations. Brussels has refused to start talks on future ties with Britain until certain priority issues, including how the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland will be managed, are resolved. But London says the two issues cannot be separated.
