This is not about statues: It’s about hate, and white supremacy

This morning, after watching a few minutes of Trump’s press conference from New York City, I wept. Tears filled my eyes, and ran down my cheeks, as I contemplated the notion that the ‘President’ was openly supporting Nazis and white supremacists.  This is not about statues, or some misty, snow globe celebration of heritage, as Trump and other apologists allude to. This is racism – racial hatred – and its advocates.
