The Chapel of Our Lady in Rotherham, England

This 15th-century bridge chapel in Rotherham, South Yorkshire has been an almshouse, town jail, and tobacconist’s shop but is now actively used in its original role as a place of worship. Its proper name is the Chapel of Our Lady of Rotherham Bridge and it's considered a real hidden gem within this industrial town. A bridge chapel is a small chapel, located either at one end of or built into a structure in the middle of the bridge.
