On Monday, President Donald Trump stood before a teleprompter in the White House and read a message about uniting the country after what he called an "egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence" in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend. "No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God," Trump said.
