The Irish’s schedule is updated here throughout the season. The basics: The Notre Dame Fighting Irish went 4-8 in 2016, but they’ll always be more talented than that. Years of strong recruiting mean that Brian Kelly’s team is never that far away from contending. This year’s team plays another Notre Dame schedule, which is to say it’s really hard. It also has a new look, with the quarterbacks and both coordinators from last year’s team now gone.
