Georgia didn’t bring Uga to Notre Dame

The Dawgs’ live mascot may have been barred from the sideline in South Bend. Right before Notre Dame kicked off to Georgia early in the first quarter, Mike Tirico referenced that the Dawgs did not bring Uga (the school’s live bulldog mascot) on the trip. Now, Tirico didn’t give an official reason why, but there may have been an explanation in another recent one-off game against a college football blueblood.
