Québec Copyright Collective Sues Laval University

This is a follow-up to the July 23, 2017 Library Boy post entitled Reaction to Federal Court Decision on York University Fair Dealing that discussed the lawsuit by Access Copyright over the alleged improper reproduction and copying of protected works at York University in Toronto.Last week, Québec copyright collective Copibec announced it was launching a class action lawsuit against Québec City-based Université Laval for alleged copyright infringement.
