US should give 'Dreamers' durable legal status: UN

The UN rights chief raised concern Monday about Washington's decision to end an amnesty for hundreds of thousands of people brought illegally to the country as children, saying they should be granted "durable legal status". US President Donald Trump last week abrogated an order issued by his predecessor Barack Obama that protected around 800,000 young people by granting them temporary legal status as part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program (DACA).
