Ohio took a page out of Navy’s playbook on this trick play touchdown

We first saw this during the Midshipmen’s game against Temple. During Tuesday night’s game between the Ohio Bobcats and the Akron Zips, Ohio scored its second touchdown of the night on a gorgeously executed trick play. While Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke started calling audibles, the ball was snapped, catching Akron’s defense completely off-guard. It was then pitched to receiver Brendan Cope, who found a wide open Rourke in the end zone: This may seem familiar to you, and that’s because the Navy Midshipmen ran this exact same play a couple of weeks ago against Temple! cool TD play by Navy here.
