The BBC reports on the IOC's decision to tackle Russia's systematic cheating in sports by banning Russian athletes from competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics. The IOC decision comes after a lengthy investigation, but instead of accepting the outcome and the sense of outrage at the widespread use of doping by Russian athletes - the Russian authorities have cried foul. Which is a pathetic as it is predictable by a country whose behaviour has tainted international sport in recent years, particularly the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi.
