Research team developing and testing compounds for potential treatment of hydrocephalus

(Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis School of Science) A multidisciplinary team of IUPUI researchers has received a $1.8 million grant from the US Department of Defense to gain a better understanding of hydrocephalus and commence developing potential treatments. They are conducting a preclinical evaluation of drug compounds, including one they have identified as a strong prospective candidate to treat hydrocephalus.
