5 YA Books We Saw Brought to Life on the Small Screen This Year

With their explosive fan bases and (typically) movie-friendly storylines, young adult novels have been blowing up the silver screen for years now. Thanks to the rampant success of adaptations like Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, it didn't take long for the TV world to catch on and churn out hits of its own (we still miss you, Gossip Girl). This year was an especially good time for fans of YA books since a handful of them were set to hit our TV screens.
