Population of Americans with Alzheimer's will more than double by 2060, UCLA study shows

(University of California - Los Angeles Health Sciences) About 15 million Americans will have either Alzheimer's dementia or mild cognitive impairment by 2060, up from approximately 6.08 million this year. The findings highlight the need to develop preventive measures that could slow the progression of the disease in at risk for Alzheimer's dementia.
