A Cuban Diner From the Team Behind Finka Debuts in Kendall

Amelia’s 1931 serves Cuban fusion cuisine, diner style The team behind West Kendall favorite Finka Table & Tap have debuted their latest eatery, Amelia’s 1931, just about five blocks down from their original restaurant at 13601 SW 26 Street. The restaurant, which is self-described as “a cozy Cuban diner,” serves twists on classic Cuban dishes and reinvented versions of Finka Table & Tap’s “crowd favorites” such as the Peruvian arroz con pollo fritters with huacatay mayo and the smoked brisket with crispy onions, Asian slawa and huacatay mustard in the form of a sandwich.
