The Mekong Review -- "a quarterly literary journal publishing fiction, essays, reviews and poetry from Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia" -- gets a nice write-up in The New York Times from Mike Ives, Eluding Censors, a Magazine Covers Southeast Asia's Literary Scene. As I've often complained, this part of the (literary) world is woefully under-represented/appreciated abroad, so it's good to see a publication like this spread the word(s) (and The New York Times, in turn, spread the word about it).
