A former Watergate prosecutor suggests she could face obstruction of justice charges. A former Watergate prosecutor said White House communications director Hope Hicks could be in legal jeopardy if she suggested destroying emails related to Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with Russians. Nick Akerman, a former U.S. Attorney who prosecuted the Watergate case, agreed with former Trump legal team spokesman Mark Corallo that Hicks may have been contemplating a crime when she told lawyers the emails “will never get out,” as the New York Timesreported.
