Furman hits 15 3-pointers to beat Mercer 85-73

MACON, Ga. (AP) -- Devin Sibley scored 21 points and Furman shot 51 percent from the field to beat Mercer 85-73 on Thursday night. Furman (16-7, 7-3 Southern Conference) has won three of its last four games. Mercer (10-13, 3-7) has lost four straight. The Paladins shot 28 of 55 from the field, were 15-of-30 shooting from long range and made 14 of 18 free throws. Sibley made four 3-pointers, and John Davis III added 14 points and seven of Furman's 18 assists.
