Berlin (AFP) – Robert Lewandowski equalled his manager’s Bundesliga record of scoring in 11 consecutive home games but Jupp Heynckes was not on Bayern Munich’s bench to witness the feat. Bayern kept their 18-point lead in the table with a 2-1 victory over Schalke as Lewandowski and Thomas Mueller netted superb first-half goals with head coach Heynckes, 72, watching at home on Saturday.
