Gal Metal producer explains the game's unique take on the rhythm genre

Gal Metal is a pretty unique rhythm game in the sense that it doesn't have notes on screen that the player follows along with. 4Gamer sat down with producer Tak Fujii to discuss this approach. Tak Fujii, producer: “...the entire line of thinking on what is being tested is different from other rhythm games. In rhythm games, a lot of the time you ‘follow the map and input the key on time, or else you lose points’, but Gal Metal looks for the musical elements.
