Prominent Radio Host’s West Island Restaurant Has Shuttered — and Other Closures

Including a Mile End seafood spot that is gone a few months after its co-owner died POINTE-CLAIRE — Bistro Pointe-Claire, the restaurant co-owned by CHOM’s morning radio man Terry DiMonte, has checked out of Pointe-Claire Village. As one of the most notable West Island restaurants, it’s a loss, and a farewell note on social media notes that it closed “not because of a lack of success but because of changing business chapters in [co-owner] Kevin’s life”.
