McDonald's Celebrates Women with Empty Gesture

We've finally achieved the thing our foremothers worked so hard to achieve: a McDonald's sign. Business Insider reports that McDonald's is marking International Women's Day on March 8 by turning the iconic M logo upside down on all their "digital channels," and giving special Women's Day "packaging, crew shirts and hats, and bag stuffers" to 100 McDonald's franchises.
