It has come to my attention that on the Island of Okinawa there is a drive to have Shimabuku Tatsuo Sensei style declared a "Traditional" style. Ahhh, that traditional moniker again.Here is what they say denotes a Okinawa Traditional style.Note: Currently there are only three styles recognized by the Okinawan government as traditional; Shorin-ryu, Goju-ryu, and Uechi-ryu.
