Gymnast Aly Raisman received quite the offer when she was signing autographs in Los Angeles on Friday (Aug. 24).
The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards is welcoming several golden girls to the stage next month. The U.S. gold-medal winning women's gymnastics team -- Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber -- will be on hand to present an award at the show.
Raisman is the first US woman to win gold for a floor routine.
Aly Raisman capped off her 2012 Summer Olympics run with a huge performance on the women's floor exercise finals. Jordyn Wieber finished a disappointing seventh.
Much like the men's gymnastics team competition, an inquiry ended the women's balance beam finals. That time it gave the Japanese men a silver medal. This time it resulted in Aly Raisman earning a bronze.
Gabby Douglas kept the U.S. women's gymnastics individual all-around title streak going with a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
The 2012 Summer Olympics women's gymnastics individual all-around competition was a fight to the finish amongst the top four women of the day -- Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman of the United States and Victoria Komova and Aliya Mustafina of Russia.

"It feels amazing. It's still so surreal to be here. We've been working so hard. I'm just so proud. All these girls are my best friends," says Aly Raisman.
"When I compete in London I not only want to do well for myself and my country," says gymnast Aly Raisman, "but also for my parents."
The last three U.S. women's gymnastics team spots went to Aly Raisman, who finished third at trials, Kyla Ross, who finished fifth, and McKayla Maroney, who finished sixth.
