Summer Waves in Fuerteventura 2017

The conditions in Fuerteventura’s south were excellent at some days, when some proper swell built waves at Risco el Paso. That’s a shot from mid August. It was very windy. I am on the Challenger 4G in 4,0m and a Starboard Kode 80 thruster. Kerstin had her finger on the trigger in the right moment […]

A Couple of New Short Videos

I haven't been very active on the video front or blog postings lately. Life has been super busy in 2017, all good but it's just been keeping my creative juices down quite a bit. However, here are a couple of short video edits of some cool recent events with my family at the coast and in the mountains. Show More Summary

Blowing the dust off of my jibes

Birding for Kiting

Andre and I fill the back seat of his helicopter with kiting gear, take the bird to Martha's Vineyard for an after work session. This is the kind of birding I really enjoy! I wonder if I should feel guilty about flying at 100 MPH over the traffic jams below. Show More Summary

Start September with a Session

Friday morning northerly...air temps in the 50's...Labor Day weekend? Why not? I hemmed and hawed at Towd Point beach, resenting the mid 50's air (of course in not that many months I'll be rigging in snow!) when Al the kiter...

Chocoura With Ben

Hiked Mt Chocorua with Ben as a last hurrah before he heads back to Tufts on Sat. Ahh, it was nice. A perfect day for it. Sunny, with temp in upper 60's. Lively hike and livelier conversation. Ben, Asleep on Top of the World Mt Chocorua, 3850 ft, Champney Falls Trail, Easy 7 miles, 4.5 hours.

Getting Down in Delaware

I make the short drive to Delaware for a little kiting in Rehobeth Bay. This is a pretty nice shallow water spot for kiting. It doesn't seem to have water that's over waist deep at low tide. Friendly crowd. Nice place to visit so they say. Show More Summary
