A lot of people in the East Bay saw a big, bright ball of light streak across the sky last night, and it appears to have been a big chunk of meteor. So apparently "technical errors" caused San Diego's "Big Bay Boom" fireworks display last night to be set off in 15-seconds instead of over the course of 15-minutes.
