Before Wolfgang Dürheimer moves to Audi, he's still got a few jobs to finish as head of Bentley and Bugatti, one of them being to oversee the development of the 16C Galibier. It was back in 2009 that the two-tone concept had audiences agog, and rumors and leaks since then have had everyone wondering if the four-seat fastback will ever become reality. Show More Summary
It is now three years since Bugatti’s Galibier concept was unveiled, and a production version would seem no closer to reality. The concept has reportedly returned to the drawing board twice, after a lukewarm market reaction and, now, what will be two successive leadership changes. Show More Summary
Bugatti’s ultra-luxury Galibier sedan concept was first shown to the public in the fall of 2009. Initial customer feedback was somewhat underwhelming, and potential buyers criticized the car as not being special enough, both inside and out. With the Bugatti Galibier all but fading into the shadows, Bugatti has been left with nothing to show the auto market apart from different Veyron variants in the past year. Show More Summary
Not much is known about Bugatti’s successor for the Veyron supercar. That’s probably because the Veyron itself is still being built and the model after it, due around 2014, will be a production version of the Bugatti Galibier sedan concept. This means that the Veyron’s successor is still quite a few years away, at the earliest...
A teaser video for the Bugatti 16C Galibier four-door concept has just hit the internet, and while it already has thousands of clicks, don’t be fooled as most of them have probably come from this office (we’re believers). In what may be our best look, or certainly most dramatic one anyways, the video is convincing [...]
Bugatti have released a teaser video for one of their future cars, it being the 16C Galibier. Since we had a preview of this model last year, we get to see it in more detail here. This four-door concept motor is certainly desirable, as the French super car manufacturer never fail to impress with their [...]
Reports of a production debut for Bugatti's big Galibier 16C supersaloon have been circulating since its unveiling in 2009, but we've yet to hear news of a green light. That could be about to change however, with the Volkswagen-owned carmaker rolling out a new promotional video this week. Show More Summary
Looks like Bugatti is finally getting a handle on this YouTube phenomenon. The French supercar firm has uploaded a trio of videos showing off its current and future cars; namely, the Veyron coupe and the 16C Galibier.
What Bugatti has clearly not figured out, on the other hand, is the definition of a teaser. Show More Summary

For a car that doesn’t really exist and may never hit the market, Bugatti’s Galibier 16C has received an amazing amount of coverage in the media. Since its unveiling as a concept in 2009, the car has been the subjected to more rumor, speculation and innuendo than any other concept vehicle we can name. Given the car’s...

The “four-door Veyron” remains a concept for now, but French luxury car manufacturer Bugatti released some new images showing the Galibier dressed all in black. Mechanical specifications and performance numbers have not yet been disclosed. According to Autoblog.com the “four-door Veyron” will go into production in 2015, as for price, will be close to $1.6 million.
It looks like it will once again take Bugatti a little longer to bring their new 4 seater, the 16C Galibier to market, just like it was the case with the Veyron. Having changed the launch date to 2015, we still have to say that it seems like it is worth the wait. Judging from [...]
